EMS Rig Repaired with Duct Tape and Bandages

When I shared the fire hydrant that had been "repaired" with duct tape, a friend of mine sent me this photograph. It shows a mirror for a Detroit EMS rig that had been patched with duct tape and adhesive bandages.

This photograph was reportedly taken by an EMT for the Detroit Fire Department who did not want his or her name revealed publicly. I have to have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for those who persevere when this is the conditions that they have to work with.
